In my book, I outlined one of the 6 Wolves commonly influencing small businesses was staff including contractors.
And those Wolves can certainly huff and puff very loudly when people start kicking the toys out of the cot and not playing nicely in the sandpit.
However, if you haven't recognised that, whether you like it or not, the world of work has changed since the pandemic and that staff ARE looking for better opportunities and salaries to help them manage cost of living pressures; then your small business operations could be on the verge of walking out the door and then what will you do?
Now I'm not suggesting you bend over backwards and give staff everything they ask for.
